Dr. Danyka Paulin
Growing up in Mattawa, Dr. Danyka knew she wanted to be a dentist from a young age. She began her schooling at the University of Ottawa, obtaining a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree with honours. Continuing her studies at the University of Western Ontario, she completed her Masters of Science in Physiology on scholarship. Dr. Danyka received her Dental Degree from the University of Toronto and began her career in Southern Ontario, working for several years before moving home to Mattawa with her husband Marc-Andre. She joined our team soon after and became the proprietor of Lakeshore Dental Care in 2020. In that same year she became a mother to a beautiful daughter named Ari, which has made her an even stronger leader. Dr. Danyka sets the highest standard in patient care, work ethic and team commitment.
Dr. Asma Hasan Rizvi
Dr. Asma grew up in Toronto. She began her post-secondary education at the University of Western Ontario, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree with honours, specializing in Biology. She continued her studies at Western, earning a Masters of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology, on scholarship. After working at the Department of Geriatrics at Mount Sinai, she returned to Western Ontario and completed her dental degree. She began her career in Northern Ontario after graduating. Dr. Asma's genuine personality, poise and dedication to our team and our patients is inspiring. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful associate dentist that embodies our values and vision for our office.
Lyndsy Wendorf - Office Coordinator
Lyndsy attended Durham College's School of Media, Art and Design where she excelled in Advertising & Marketing Communications, graduating with honours. She began her career at Lakeshore Dental Care in June of 2007 as it's first Hygiene Coordinator, growing the hygiene department and patient base exponentially. This led to her promotion to Office Coordinator in July of 2011, where she strives daily to set a positive and professional work environment for our team and patients. Lyndsy's passion is advocating for vulnerable populations. As a powerful strategist, she utilizes her unique skill set to educate dental professionals on topics such as abuse recognition and prevention, mental health, and anti-racism, while working to advance dental healthcare equity for vulnerable populations. Her loyalty, kindness and devotion to our team, patients and community are evident inside and outside of office hours.
Niki Gauthier - Treatment Coordinator
Niki attended Canadore College's Dental Assisting program earning a one-year certificate. She then attended the University of Western Ontario where she completed the Preventive Dental Assisting Course, followed by the Dental Assisting Level II upgrade. She has been with our office since May of 1996, starting as a Clinical Dental Assistant for 15 years before being promoted to Treatment Coordinator in January of 2011. Her daughters, Mackenzie and Hanna, alongside her husband, Denis, have been her greatest joy. Niki's strong communication skills, extensive dental knowledge and her genuine character make her invaluable to her position as Treatment Coordinator. She is an exemplary dental professional, always putting her team and patient care first.
Samantha Goldsmith – Lead Schedule Coordinator
Samantha graduated with honors from the Personal Support Worker program at CTS Canadian Career College and has since worked primarily in the medical field within North Bay. In 2012, she met her husband, Curtis. They were married in 2016 and are now the proud parents of their sons, Kayson and Sawyer. Sam goes above and beyond daily for our team and our patients in her role as Hygiene Coordinator. Her meticulous scheduling, strategic problem-solving abilities and her contagious positivity provides our patients and our team with remarkable care and support. Sam is currently on maternity leave, returning in July 2023!
Marley Shillington - Hygiene Coordinator
Marley was born born and raised in North Bay. She attended Cambrian College's Early Childhood Education program in Sudbury. Soon after she moved to Australia for 7 months, working as an Au Pair. Upon moving back to North Bay, Marley worked in the hospitality industry and adopted a poodle named Rueben. Marley has been a patient of Lakeshore Dental Care since the age of 4, and has always felt at home with the team. We were thrilled when Marley applied for an administrative role within the office. She leads the way with her warmth, professionalism, and conscientious work ethic.
Jordee Matson - Hygiene Coordinator
Jordee grew up in Neebing, Ontario. She attended St. Cloud State University in Minnesota on a tennis scholarship, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, specializing in Criminal Justice. Jordee was an assistant tennis pro in Winnipeg. That is where she met her spouse Jake, whose military career led them to Colorado Springs. During a dental appointment, Jordee was offered a job as their Patient Scheduling Coordinator. From that point on, she fell in love the profession. Jordee applied to Lakeshore Dental Care while still living in Colorado as she was preparing to move to North Bay for Jake's posting at 22 Wing. Jordee promotes a motivating, energetic and sociable work environment for our teammates and patients.
Nancy Babich – Dental Hygienist
Nancy began her post-secondary education at Canadore College. While she was there, she completed the English as a Second Language course, earned a diploma in General Arts and Sciences and went on to graduate from the Bilingual Dental Assisting program. It was during this time that she met her husband, Rodney. With aspirations of becoming a Dental Hygienist, Nancy moved to Ottawa to attend Dental Hygiene in French at La Cite Collegiale and has been a Dental Hygienist ever since. In the year 2000, Nancy and Rodney had their son, Nicholas. Less than two years later, Nancy began working as a Dental Hygienist at Lakeshore Dental Care. Her vast dental expertise, dedication and genuine compassion make her essential to our team and to her patients.
Joeleen Tignanelli – Dental Hygienist
Joeleen completed Canadore College's Dental Assisting Program, then went on to graduate from Dental Hygiene at Cambrian College. She has been a Dental Hygienist at Lakeshore Dental Care since 2004. Joeleen and her husband, David, pride themselves on their strong family values. They are now the proud parents of their daughter, Cadence, and son, Morgan. Joeleen's loyalty, charisma and comprehensive skill set provide her patients and our team with unsurpassed care and support, while her many innovative ideas inspire our team on a regular basis.
Jennifer DeBernardi – Restorative Dental Hygienist
Jennifer graduated from Oshawa's Dental Assisting program before completing her education at Hamilton's Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene. She met her husband, Stephane, as he was repairing a dental chair in an Oshawa dental office where she worked. Outside of work hours, Jen enjoys snowmobiling and volunteering on the Board of Directors for the North Bay Snowmobile Club. Jennifer started at our office as a part-time Hygienist in 2013. She was so outstanding that in 2015 we built her an operatory so she could work with us full-time. Her dazzling personality and vast dental experience make her indispensable to her team and patients alike. Jen is altruistic to her core, which strengthens her drive to challenge the status-quo, ultimately bringing our office's patient care to a higher level. Jen is Lakeshore Dental Care's first Restorative Hygienist, graduating from the University of Manitoba program.

Jessica Arseneau - Dental Assistant
Jessica graduated from Fortis College’s Level II Dental Assistant program in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting. She remained in Utah to begin her career in Dental Assisting, while also teaching at Roseman University. Jess served as a Naval Ship Serviceman, as a 2nd class Petty Officer on the USS Frank Cable, touring with the Pacific 7th Fleet. Also, Jessica served at the Air Base in Mississippi and the Naval Hospital in Guam. In September 2018, she moved back home to North Bay to be with her long-time best friend Ryan and were engaged in 2019. Soon after, Jess joined our team in a dual position as a Dental Assistant and as our Sterile Bay Coordinator. Jessica's life experiences in the Navy taught her honor, courage and commitment. They have attributed to her team focused approach, kind demeanor and perseverance. All of these things make her an excellent addition to our team.
Kelsey Hoffman - Dental Assistant
Kelsey has been fascinated by dentistry since having braces as a child. She grew up in Germany as her dad played professional hockey there. Kelsey returned to Canada, moving to Kitchener when she was 8 years old. She then completed Westervelt College's Level 2 Dental Assisting program in Kitchener. Upon graduating she moved North, where she began her dental assisting career. Soon after, Kelsey joined our team as Dr. Danyka's main Dental Assistant. Kelsey's calming and positive energy are an asset to our team and patients. Outside of office hours, she and her spouse, Tyler reside in Callander where they enjoy hiking with their dogs and riding their ATV's through the trails.
